Our 'eco-recycled' theme continues with our seven, Luxmore of TeAnau, ensuite hotel rooms. They come complete with ensuite shower and toilet, bar refrigerator, coffee & tea service.
A separate, purpose-built, fully-equipped kitchen off the connecting verandah, leave cooking smells where they belong, in the kitchen, not your bedroom. There are no TV’s in the rooms, to disturb you or your neighbours. There is a TV lounge on site if you want to watch the weather or join us in the cafe to watch the news at six. The warm glow of our special recycled rimu ‘hush’ sound walls not only provide a wonderful ambience to your room, but also minimise any neighbouring noise.
Bush views and a sunny private verandah with seating allow you to enjoy a glass of wine while listening to the evening chorus. You can then walk up to the Whistling Frog Cafe for a special dinner.
Electric blankets and really comfy executive beds provide the perfect haven after your busy day of adventuring in this pristine part of the world. There are a number of configurations including double or double plus single bed, sleeps up to three persons.

After a day of adventure, take a break and a brew and enjoy our spectacular valley vista and sunset from our fireside lounge or large covered deck. Listen to the famous bellbird dawn chorus and the unique calls of the brown whistling frogs.
Our Airstrip
Now you can fly in and take advantage of our airstrip - fly in, order a scone and coffee and check out the wonders of The Catlins. Oh, and by the way, you'll be welcome back for our September Frog Fly in.
